On January 10th, 2019, Ms. Hoan Nguyen Thi Ngoc from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam, visited the Coastal and Ocean Management Institute (COMI), Xiamen University. Ms. Hoan was welcomed by Professor Fang Qinhua, who introduced to her the Xiamen International Training Center for Coastal Sustainable Development (ITC-CSD), COMI and its Marine Affairs program, as well as the PEMSEA Network of Local Governments for Sustainable Coastal Development (PNLG). Prof. Fang also briefed Ms. Hoan on the marine spatial planning and management experience in China.
