After the introduction of COMI on its establishment, mission, structure and main research areas from COMI, Prof. Marsh made a detailed presentation entitled “The PhD program at JCU” with an emphasis on opportunities for marine science research to the students and faculties. She also explained the enrollment requirements, scholarships supported and its applications etc. of the PhD program at JCU and answered all the questions raised by the students. Dr. Chengwang Lei also made a presentation entitled “Research activities in School of Engineering at JCU: Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Interdisciplinary Engineering” to the students.
