Dr. Kim briefly introduced KMI for all the parcipants and showed their interests on exploring cooperation opportunities with COMI on co-organizing ocean policy related forums and workshops, joint research possibilities in South China Sea and also capacity building activities in the future. He made this visit to COMI for further mutual understanding and also represented KMI to sign an LOA with COMI on co-covening the Ocean Forum during the World Ocean Week 2010 in Xiamen, China. The presenting COMI faculty also attended the discussion and expressed their ideas and general concepts of future cooperation possibilities with KMI.
