Field Visit Conducted by the Ocean and Coastal Management Class

On 3^rd January, 2016, Prof. Xiongzhi XUE, who taught the Ocean and Coastal Management class, led the students of this class to have a field visit on Integrated Coastal Management (ICM) to Wuyuanwan Bridge, Amoy Wuyuanwan Bay, Guanyin Shan, Huangcuo Coast, Baicheng Coast, Haiwan Park, Yundang Lake etc. Prof. Xue introduced in details the environment states of these sites before and after ICM was implemented and the ICM processes. Through the field visit, all the students have a better understanding on the ICM cases introduced in class, and witness the improvement of environmental quality of these sites, thus have a deeper and better understanding on the processes and achievements of Xiamen ICM programs. This field visit is warmly welcomed by the students.
