2. During their study at XMU, Ph.D. students of Marine Affairs who pursue a doctoral degree of management should publish one paper at journal listed in the Top Journals of Liberal Arts of XMU or Category-I Core Journals (papers published in supplements, special issues or special features are not considered as alternatives), or three papers at Category-II Core Journals. A monograph (at least 30,000 words), textbook or translation of composition (both at least 50,000 words) related to his/her dissertation is equivalent to a paper published in category-II core journals.
