On behalf of Xiamen University, one of the organizers of WOW, COMI continued to co-convened the main forum-The 2015 International Ocean Forum in Xiamen & the 5th Ministerial Forum on Marine Sustainable Development for Developing Countries this year together with World Ocean Week (WOW) Secretariat, Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, and Fujian Institute of Oceanography (FJIO) . Prof. Huasheng Hong was invited to host the first session of the Forum, while Mr. Skanan Plathong and Mr. Nguyen Chu Hoi were invited by COMI to attend the Forum as panelists. Besides, COMI has organized a technical team to serve as the rapporteurs and edited the summary of the Forum.
